Directly Engage a Threat

When: You fight, compete, or otherwise try to overcome an immediate threat

Roll: + Danger

Unleash Your Powers

When: You use your powers to overcome an obstacle, reshape your environment, or extend your senses

Roll: + Freak

Defend Someone

When: You leap to defend someone or something from an immediate threat

Roll: + Savior

Assess the Situation

When: You take time to study a person, place, or situation

Roll: + Superior

Comfort or Support

When: You comfort or support someone

Roll: + Mundane

Pierce the Mask

When: You pierce through someone's emotional mask to see the person underneath

Roll: + Mundane

Reject Others' Influence

When: Someone tries to use Influence to shift your Labels

Roll: + Label they're trying to increase

10+: You reject their influence completely. Add +1 to the Label of your choice

7-9: You partly resist. Choose one:

  • Take what they give you but give them Influence over you
  • Shift the Label they chose down instead of up

Take a Powerful Blow

When: You take a physical or emotional hit that leaves a lasting impact

Roll: + Conditions marked

10+: Choose one:

  • You step up and deliver a chance for your team to shine
  • You inflict a condition on your attacker

7-9: You go down but your team gets +1 Team to the pool

6-: Mark two conditions and the GM decides what happens

Celebrate

When: You celebrate your victories together as a team

Choose one:

  • Share vulnerability or weakness with the team
  • Tell the team exactly why they matter to you

Each PC who celebrates shifts one Label up and one Label down

Team Pool

When: Your team works together as a coordinated unit

Spend Team from the pool to:

  • Add +1 to any PC's roll (before rolling)
  • Use a team move
  • Cancel a condition for any PC
